Referred to by Kent as “Alaska Inlet” in a July 24, 1954 letter to photographer Victor Amato, but then the artist captions the painting, in his autobiography “It’s Me O Lord,” as “Alaskan Inlet.” A remnant label on the verso of the painting titles the work, “Alaska, Inlet.”
